Lozzy
Pebble found in garden that i painted with black gesso then added cheesecloth, punched butterflies, flowers and sentiment

This is a journal page with a background more with Caran d'arche Neocolor II water-soluble wax pastels, softly blended with a baby wipe.I used various distress inks in blues and purples with a stencil with dots and another with flowers, also stamped one of my favourite Penny Black stamps 'sparklers' and the Judy-kins face stamp. The words were generated on computer, printed and coloured with spectrum noir alcohol pens.

I Made an A4 mixed media piece, which will be the cover for a new journal I am starting. The paper was gessoed. and the central image is a paper napkin. I stenciled the birds, numbers and alphas with black Archival, and the dots with blue distress ink. The sentiment is from Dylusions. I used cardstock in blue and purple, and sewed round it twice to make it stable enough for the cover.

I decided to drag this fab album from the depths of my craft stash for this weeks challenge.
I had a lovely paper pad of papers ranging from deep purple to almost lilac shades and used these to cover the pages.
Next I stamped and the die cut the flowers. I shaped the flowers and distressed the edges with ink before adhering them to the album.
To finish I cut and tied white and purple ribbon to the book rings and added a few pale green pearl gems to the pages.

Hi everyone,
So happy to be back on More Mixed Media Challenge blog:)
Today  I prepared a page in my art journal which did not take too much thinking. The background was  made with gesso and a mix of violet and purple acrylic paints from Pebeo. And, of course, few splashes of black here and there:) For my  two focal points I finally used coloring pages which I’ve done years ago. I used ordinary glitter pens to color the flowers and the glitter is still visible (although not so much on the pictures). Today I just cut separate flowers and  glued them the way I wanted to to the two pages. Beforehand though I added few black rub-ons in the shape of arabesques. At the end I added few glass beads here and there, the word “Believe”, the edges of the journal distressed with Black Sooth Distress ink.

This is a page I have done in my Dina Wakley mixed media journal. I started of with a brayered background which was quite busy so I decided to add some paint and bring it all together. I have used Dina Wakley's Magenta,  Blackberry and Turquoise paints This has given a more focal point to the background and helped blend everything in. I gessoed through a circle stencil for some texture and added one of the new Tim Holtz paper dolls cut outs. I love how these vintage images work so well with lots of colour. A simple word"Together" sums the page up for me.

For my project, I decided to create an art journal page. I am very new to art journaling with only 3 pages under my belt. But this is my very first art journal page where I literally took a pencil to sketch out my drawing. I hand drew this entire page and then once it was completely finished by sketch, I took some paints and started to paint it all. I used various paints and white gesso. The vase was the hardest part to do because I wanted it to look like a clear glass vase with water in it. So I took white gesso and very light gray and blue paints to create the water and clear glass look. I added a bit of brown to also reflect the table inside the clear glass vase. I think that I was able to achieve the look pretty well, considering this was my first time trying to work on something like this. So the page is supposed to show the florals on a nice wooden table up against a wall. I also took some Dina Wakely scribble sticks to do the florals along with some paints for accents. I also took my Prisma colored pencils to do some shading on the leaves. The title was done using my copic multi-liner and my FB artist Pitt brush in black. I also took my white gel pen for hightlights on the florals and the letters in the title. It is not perfect, but it completely screams hand made and that is what I love about it. I am so happy with my very first completed sketched/painted drawing.

i altered a old ring box and converted it into tiny treasure box.I first layered the clay pieces on the box with hot glue than gave it few coats of black gesso. Next i applied art alchemy wax - amethyst on the entire box and than highlighted the textures with art alchemy wax- old silver.

Take care
