More Mixed Media Challenge - "Anything Goes" optional Bright Colours

Hi everyone and hope you all well..

Thank you for your support and to everyone who entered our last Challenge and i shall be back on the 10th to announce the Winners, Top 5 and we have Digi Papers for our Winners.



 Now our 8th Challenge for you is going to be "Anything Goes" + optional Bright colours.

We would love to see your mixed media work, project life spreads, digital layouts, scrap-booking, pocket letters, up-cycled projects etc. Even though we are a mixed media challenge we dont want to leave anyone out so you can also enter with your traditional paper/card/image layouts plus free to enter as many times as you like with a new creation. Enter any other challenges and most of all have fun.

Would like to thank the Design Team for their stunning crafty creations that they have made for this challenge and hope they have given you some inspiration to join in with us as we can not wait to see what you come up with for this challenge.

Using a Portrait Template

Hi everyone and hope you all ok..Its Lozzy here

Would like to show you a 5 x 7 canvas board using new templates from Paper Babe Stamps.

Used one of the mixed media mini portrait templates and matching face stamps to create this mixed media piece also using Dylusion paints, Tim Holtz stencils, Creative Expressions Stamps, Ink pad, Prima Oil Pastels and pencils.

 Now our 7th Challenge for you is going to be "Anything Goes" + optional Pastel colours.

I made the background of the canvas (about 12" x 16") with a mix of white gesso and various acrylic paints. The two corner pieces were left over form a card from a set bought long ago.

I used two That's Crafty stencils, randomly dabbing the top one with sparkle medium champagne and the bottom one with sparkle medium cinnamon. I inked the Just Rite cling Fleuriste Newsprint background stamp with versafine onyx black and stamped on to a piece of white tissue paper. I then wetted around it with a paintbrush to tear and adhered to the canvas with mod podge.

Flowers from Hobbycraft, the white ones touched with some of the cinnamon and champagne sparkle medium.

I created this layout on 10x8 size canvas pad..
I have used Tim Holtz stencils for background texturing, Tim holtz Distress spray, Heidi swapp spray. I have chosen Papericious brand pattern papers(proud to say that it is an Indian brand)...my mixed media essential kit from Prima and lots of embellishments. 

Picture of my mother her in purple saree gave me some ideas.

My mother loved doing stitching ...I remember, when I was a kid, most of my dresses were made by her. She is very creative and I feel creativity is in my genes..So I have used stitching machine,scissors charms and a lil "mom" "Handmade with love" charm.
